If we read the following article and then compare the present situation with that when the article was written, will we be able to see any big change in the corrupt practices in the civil scoiety sector? I think not only the number of NGOs has increased but also the cases of corruption in these organisations have quadruppled.
We are sorry for not being able to run Pakistan Civil Society effeciently. But we do try our best from the time that we have at our disposal to contribute whatever we can towards the development of this forum. At the same time we expect you to contribute by participating in various ways, for example you can write articles as guest authors or you can interact with other particpants to talk about issues that you think are very important to our communities or still you can bring to the attention of the people of Pakistan the mismanagement that may be taking place in the civil society organisations of your region. Without co-operation and without your support we will not be able to run this forum the way we should. We therefore hope we will hear from you in the days and weeks to come.
